Rishabh Pant has made a great comeback to competitive cricket after a horrible car accident last year left him injured. He has been displaying remarkable form and class with the bat, and his captaincy has been brilliant too. His team, Delhi Capitals, have been performing exceptionally well despite some poor games earlier in the tournament, showing a commendable comeback.

However, recently, Pant took to his social media and posted a photo of himself during a practice session. Interestingly, he wasn't batting or keeping, but rather he was bowling, mimicking the bowling action of India's former left-arm pacer, Irfan Pathan.

Pant has played 12 matches this season and has scored a total of 413 runs at an average of 41.30, with a strike rate of 156.44. He has smashed 31 boundaries and 25 sixes so far in the mega event. Talking about his team DC, they have won six out of their 12 games so far and are placed in the fifth position in the points table. L

DC have two games left to play at home, Pant named in India's T20 World Cup 2024

Looking ahead, on May 12, Delhi Capitals will play their second-last game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. On May 14, the last league match of DC will be against Lucknow Super Giants at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Notably, Rishabh Pant has also been selected for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the Indian team, set to take place in the Americas and the Caribbean.

Fans have been buzzing with excitement and intrigue following Pant's inclusion in the India squad for the T20 World Cup. Reflecting on his journey from adversity to triumph, one fan on X (formerly Twitter) remarked, "Missed WTC final 2023, missed ODI World Cup 2023. Now it's time for the comeback. What a story, from the horrific car accident to playing in a World Cup after 18 months - Rishabh Pant is back." Pant's journey indeed encapsulates resilience and determination, resonating deeply with cricket enthusiasts worldwide. Another fan echoed similar sentiments, stating, "From a deadly accident to the ICC World Cup team, what a journey Rishabh Pant."
