10 Active Indian cricketers whose T20I careers are almost over
Most of these players are plying their trade in IPL but it's impossible for them to make a T20I comeback.
10. Ambati Rayudu
The Hyderabad-based middle-order batsman has made a mockery of the opposition bowlers plenty of times at his own disposal. Ambati Rayudu debuted for India in 2014. The finest contender to the Indian middle-order concern prior to the World Cup 2019 failed to make the national cut.
However, statistics speak volumes about his skills with the bat. He proved his mettle with his front-foot sixes in the 13th edition IPL. The 35-year-old smashed 359 runs in 12 matches for the Chennai Super Kings. However, he has produced only 42 runs 6 T20Is for India.
Hence, the middle-order batsman is all set to bid adieu to his cricketing career in a matter of time. Even though chances of an emphatic comeback remains very low, it goes without saying that Rayudu will always be a force to reckon with.
