Mohit Sharma wreaked havoc in the 2015 World Cup with his fearless and ruthless bowling prowess. Apparently, he was MS Dhoni’s favourite as he was his go-to person during his tenure in Indian cricket. The speedster stirred the opposition for the first time in 2014 as he made his grand entry against Bangladesh. In 8 T20I outings, he bagged 6 crucial wickets for the team.

As it turned out, he lost his place to new-comers in the form of Jasprit Bumrah and few others. Although, his beautiful stint came in the 2015 WC wherein he picked 13 wickets helping the team take to the semi-finals.

Therefore, the medium-pacer has a curvy trajectory as far as his cricketing career is concerned. The team management is looking forward to taking a profound interest in youngsters as the T20 World Cup inches closer. Hence, it closes his chances of making a robust comeback in the Indian squad.
