The <a href="http://goo.gl/JHIodk" target="_blank"><strong>BPL 2015</strong></a> is the third season of the T20 cricket competition in Bangladesh. It will begin on 22 November 2015 and will feature six teams and a tournament format with a double round robin group stage, two qualifiers and an eliminator to decide the finalists. The tournament provides an excellent opportunity for the Bangladeshi players to play alongside international stars and develop their own games.

Playing in front of huge crowds in pressure situations will be an exceptional experience for their younger players. With the national team doing extremely well in recent times, some of the established Bangladeshi players will also be looking forward to entertaining the fans.

Here’s a look at <strong>10 Bangladeshi players to watch out for in the BPL 3:</strong>

<strong>1. Mohammad Mahmudullah (Barisal Bulls):</strong>

The skipper of the Barisal Bulls is a fine all-rounder. Having played 27 Tests, 125 ODIs and 37 T20Is he is an experienced member of the national side and will be looking forward to bring his experience into play. He bowls tidy off-spin, bats in the middle order and has a fine temperament for the big occasions, something he proved in the World Cup 2015. His hundred against England was a memorable knock which got Bangladesh through to the quarter-finals and the English out of the competition.<br>

The skipper of the Vikings is an elegant southpaw who scores his runs at a blistering pace and sets up the innings for his team. The opener has a wide range of shots and the ability to take on the best bowlers. One of Bangladesh’s best batsmen, Tamim has played 42 Tests, 153 ODIs and 41 T20Is for his country. His cover drives, pull shots and especially the straight drives are a delight to watch and he also hits the ball extremely hard. He proved his class and temperament with a stunning hundred at the home of cricket, Lord’s, against the highly rated English bowlers. A consistent run scorer, Tamim will be looking forward to enhance his leadership skills with this year’s BPL.<br>

The inspirational captain of the national team, Mashrafe Mortaza has been a loyal servant of Bangladesh cricket. A fine fast bowler he will also lead the Victorians, bringing in a wealth of experience. A veteran of 36 Tests, 160 ODIs and 33 T20Is he has had injury problems which curtailed his Test career in 2009 however he has been a regular member of his team in the shorter formats of the game. He has led the national team to great success in recent times and will be looking to replicate the same success with the new franchise. Bangladesh’s torchbearer is a wonderful fast bowler who has taken over 200 ODI wickets and is also a clean striker of the ball lower down the order.<br>

The left-handed opening batsman is a regular member of the national side. The 28-year-old has played 24 Tests, 58 ODIs and 5 T20Is and forms a solid opening partnership with Tamim for Bangladesh. His T20I record is poor producing just 34 runs from 5 matches and he will desperately want to prove his ability to the selectors by scoring runs in the BPL. The T20 World Cup is going to be held next year and the BPL provides a perfect chance for him to showcase his talent in the shortest format of the game. He has shown in the other 2 forms that he is more than capable of scoring runs fluently, something the franchise will be expecting as well.<br>

In the 2014-15 season, he was the second highest-scorer in the Dhaka Premier League and got into Bangladesh&#8217;s T20 squad against Pakistan in April 2015 also earning a Test debut against India in June. The young left-arm seamer made headlines by picking up two 5-wicket hauls in his first 2 ODIs against the visiting Indians that played a huge part in Bangladesh winning the series 2-1 against the cricketing giants. Prior to this, he had a memorable T20I debut against Pakistan where he got the wickets of Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez; a match which Bangladesh won by 7 wickets. A spell of 4/37 on Test debut against the touring South African’s reaffirmed his ability as a strike bowler. Rahman has a wonderfully deceptive slower one which can perplex even the best of batsmen into playing a false shot. With 26 wickets from 9 ODIs he has had a brilliant start to his international career and at the age of 20 is one of his nation’s most promising talents.<br>

The all-rounder is a gifted batsman with a sound temperament. At the age of 23 he has become one of the most reliable batsmen for Bangladesh. The right-handed Nasir is also a steady off-break bowler and a brilliant fielder. He had a memorable ODI debut in 2011 against Zimbabwe when he scored 63 runs; the highest by a Bangladeshi on ODI debut. He has played 17 Tests, 56 ODIs, and 29 T20Is. His ability to score under pressure has proved vital for his team and his performances in the series wins over India and South Africa were extremely good. His catching was also one of the high points of both the series.<br>

The skipper of the Riders, Shakib is a world-class all-rounder and arguably his nation’s best cricketer ever. The left-handed batsman is also a brilliant left-arm spin bowler. He is currently the number 1 all-rounder as per the ICC rankings. A genuine match-winner he is a big striker of the ball. A veteran of 42 Tests, 157 ODIs, and 38 T20Is, Shakib has maintained high levels of consistency in his performances in all formats of the game. He plays T20 cricket all around the world and is one of the most sought after cricketers.<br>

The new comer has had a great start to his international career, especially in the ODIs where he has scored 692 runs at an average of 49.42. The attacking left-handed batsman batted fearlessly against South Africa and Pakistan smashing the bowlers to all parts of the ground. Two half-centuries against the Proteas, 88* and 90 helped Bangladesh win the series 2-1 and a brilliant 127* against Pakistan is his highest score which saw Pakistan being white-washed by Bangladesh for the first time in ODI history. Sarkar likes to stand up tall and take a long stride to the spinners while uses his hand-eye coordination to great effect against the faster bowlers.<br>

<p>The new comer has had a great start to his international career, especially in the ODIs where he has scored 692 runs at an average of 49.42. The attacking left-handed batsman batted fearlessly against South Africa and Pakistan smashing the bowlers to all parts of the ground. Two half-centuries against the Proteas, 88* and 90 helped Bangladesh win the series 2-1 and a brilliant 127* against Pakistan is his highest score which saw Pakistan being white-washed by Bangladesh for the first time in ODI history. Sarkar likes to stand up tall and take a long stride to the spinners while uses his hand-eye coordination to great effect against the faster bowlers.<br>

<p>An integral part of the national side, Rahim is a brilliant wicket-keeper batsman who has set high standards for himself and generally achieves them. He is the captain of the Sylhet franchise and will be their most important player along with the likes of Pollard and Afridi. A seasoned campaigner, Rahim has played 48 Tests, 158 ODIs, and 43 T20Is. His calm temperament has helped his team win many matches from difficult situations. A stodgy lower-order batsman he plays spin as good as anybody in world cricket.</p>

<p>The <a href="http://goo.gl/JHIodk" target="_blank"><strong>BPL 2015</strong></a> is the third season of the T20 cricket competition in Bangladesh. It will begin on 22 November 2015 and will feature six teams and a tournament format with a double round robin group stage, two qualifiers and an eliminator to decide the finalists. The tournament provides an excellent opportunity for the Bangladeshi players to play alongside international stars and develop their own games.</p>
<p>Playing in front of huge crowds in pressure situations will be an exceptional experience for their younger players. With the national team doing extremely well in recent times, some of the established Bangladeshi players will also be looking forward to entertaining the fans.</p>

<p>The skipper of the Barisal Bulls is a fine all-rounder. Having played 27 Tests, 125 ODIs and 37 T20Is he is an experienced member of the national side and will be looking forward to bring his experience into play. He bowls tidy off-spin, bats in the middle order and has a fine temperament for the big occasions, something he proved in the World Cup 2015. His hundred against England was a memorable knock which got Bangladesh through to the quarter-finals and the English out of the competition.<br>

The opener has a wide range of shots and the ability to take on the best bowlers. One of Bangladesh’s best batsmen, Tamim has played 42 Tests, 153 ODIs and 41 T20Is for his country. His cover drives, pull shots and especially the straight drives are a delight to watch and he also hits the ball extremely hard. He proved his class and temperament with a stunning hundred at the home of cricket, Lord’s, against the highly rated English bowlers. A consistent run scorer, Tamim will be looking forward to enhance his leadership skills with this year’s BPL.<br>

<p>The inspirational captain of the national team, Mashrafe Mortaza has been a loyal servant of Bangladesh cricket. A fine fast bowler he will also lead the Victorians, bringing in a wealth of experience. A veteran of 36 Tests, 160 ODIs and 33 T20Is he has had injury problems which curtailed his Test career in 2009 however he has been a regular member of his team in the shorter formats of the game. He has led the national team to great success in recent times and will be looking to replicate the same success with the new franchise. Bangladesh’s torchbearer is a wonderful fast bowler who has taken over 200 ODI wickets and is also a clean striker of the ball lower down the order.<br>

<p>The left-handed opening batsman is a regular member of the national side. The 28-year-old has played 24 Tests, 58 ODIs and 5 T20Is and forms a solid opening partnership with Tamim for Bangladesh. His T20I record is poor producing just 34 runs from 5 matches and he will desperately want to prove his ability to the selectors by scoring runs in the BPL. The T20 World Cup is going to be held next year and the BPL provides a perfect chance for him to showcase his talent in the shortest format of the game. He has shown in the other 2 forms that he is more than capable of scoring runs fluently, something the franchise will be expecting as well.<br>

<p>The wicket-keeper batsman has a good defensive technique and flair in his stroke play. In the 2014-15 season, he was the second highest-scorer in the Dhaka Premier League and got into Bangladesh&#8217;s T20 squad against Pakistan in April 2015 also earning a Test debut against India in June. He also made his ODI debut against India in the same series. A heavy run-scorer in school and age-group cricket he has continued to improve at every stage of his young cricketing career. The 21-year-old has played 3 Tests, 9 ODIs and 3 T20Is for Bangladesh and will be looking to score runs in the BPL which features some international stars.<br>

<p>The young left-arm seamer made headlines by picking up two 5-wicket hauls in his first 2 ODIs against the visiting Indians that played a huge part in Bangladesh winning the series 2-1 against the cricketing giants. Prior to this, he had a memorable T20I debut against Pakistan where he got the wickets of Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez; a match which Bangladesh won by 7 wickets. A spell of 4/37 on Test debut against the touring South African’s reaffirmed his ability as a strike bowler. Rahman has a wonderfully deceptive slower one which can perplex even the best of batsmen into playing a false shot. With 26 wickets from 9 ODIs he has had a brilliant start to his international career and at the age of 20 is one of his nation’s most promising talents.<br>

The right-handed Nasir is also a steady off-break bowler and a brilliant fielder. He had a memorable ODI debut in 2011 against Zimbabwe when he scored 63 runs; the highest by a Bangladeshi on ODI debut. He has played 17 Tests, 56 ODIs, and 29 T20Is. His ability to score under pressure has proved vital for his team and his performances in the series wins over India and South Africa were extremely good.
