The star players had to miss out due to injuries and fitness issues as well as their sides finding better options for the playing XI. Here, we look at 10 best players who have been missing out so far in this edition.

1 – Irfan Pathan:

Irfan Pathan, India’s most valuable pace all-rounder has been out of the sport due to injury for a long period and unfortunately missed out on playing in the recently concluded World Cup. The 30 year-old left hander has been the only Indian player to pick 75 wickets and score 1000 runs in IPL, with Irfan Pathan picking up 80 wickets in 98 matches he played and scored 1126 runs at an average of 22.97, easily the stats of India’s best all-rounder in IPL. He will be now gearing to play for the Chennai Super Kings as he passed on fitness.
