5. Jasprit Bumrah: Rs 12 crore in IPL, INR 7 crore by BCCI
Jasprit Bumrah made his debut for the Indian team in 2016. Since then, he has solved India’s death bowling crisis. Since his debut, he has played 20 Test matches and picked 83 wickets so far. In ODIs, he has picked 108 wickets for Team India. Bumrah is well known for picking up wickets during crucial stages of the game.
Because of his skillful bowling, Bumrah is the only bowler who is in the “A+” category of the BCCI contract list. He is being paid INR 7 crores by the BCCI. There are only three players who are in that category, two others being Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Apart from the national team, Bumrah is the premier bowler for Mumbai Indians as well. He made his debut in 2013 and has played 99 IPL games for Mumbai. For his services, he is being paid a huge amount of INR 12 crore by the franchise.
