Rahul Sharma is a right-arm-leggie who represented the Indian national team. He is a tall leggie who can bowl swift googlies. He came into the limelight after his impressive bowling performances in IPL 2011 for Pune Warriors.

Rahul made his ODI debut under Virender Sehwag in 2011 against West Indies and he impressed in his first match itself by taking three wickets and giving just 43 runs in 10 overs. He has played four matches in ODIs and has taken six wickets with a career economy of 5.16.

This 35-year-old player has played two T20I matches and has picked three wickets. But to the question of why didn’t he play many matches, he answered in an interview that his back and shoulder injury affected his rhythm and has not played competitive cricket since 2014.
