Jackson Bird is an Australian Test bowler who is known for his high-arm action and for hitting the pitch hard. He took 100 wickets in just about 20 odd matches in first-class cricket which made him visible for the selector’s eyes.

This 6-feet-bowler made his international Test debut in 2012 against Sri Lanka and he took four wickets just in 22 overs in both innings combined. He has played nine Test matches and has taken 34 wickets which includes a fifer.

Bird’s career started to fade away as he became wicketless and in heavy competent Australian pacers, he failed to make his mark and was replaced by the other better players. This 34-year-old player donned the Test jersey last in 2017 against England.
