10 Cricketers with most haters: Well, with the game of cricket, there is attached significant quantities of emotions. And with that evolve the two faces of the same coin, denoted by following, support, love and hatred. Throughout the years, we have seen a bunch of players, who no matter how cruelly they would demolish their opposition, were loved by cricket fans around the world. In the same manner, there are players who, somehow due to some reasons, have a bunch of haters all around a globe. Here is the list of the 10 cricketers with the most haters: 1. Gautam Gambhir (India) Gautam Gambhir. (© Getty Images) This might not be a surprise name for many. The KKR skipper has involved himself in a lot of banters in the past couple of years. Gambhir was also once involved in a heated argument with the coolest contender of the game, Rahul Dravid. No wonder, after that particular incident he has made a lot of haters in his own country. Michael Clarke (Australia) Michael Clarke. As a matter of fact, Michael Clarke even sledged Tendulkar back in 2003. Not only that, Clarke was also known for his crooked skills on the field and would reach to any extent to bag a win for his team. Such incidents often led to a scarcity of sportsmanship and thus has a number of haters. 3. Russel Arnold (Sri Lanka) Russel Arnold. Once during the ICC Champions Trophy of 2002, Russel Arnold was deliberately walking down the pitch. Sourav Ganguly, the then Indian captain, warned his for his crooked activities and asked him to step aside. There were quite a few incidents when he was observed behaving in an unexpected manner. 4. Ricky Ponting would do all that was needed to get his team a victory. The opposition batsmen had to face a string of pleasantries from the Kangaroos and also, at times, he would switch to some unfair means, viz., fake appeals to put the opposition into some unnecessary trouble. As a result, the England pacer, Ollie Robinson comes as the new addition to the unique list. During the first Ashes 2023 Test series at Edgbaston, after dismissing Usman Khawaja, the pacer did not hesitate in sledging the batter as a part of his annoying send-off. This ended up with him having drawn a lot of flak from fans and cricket experts from the world over. However, this did not go down well with several cricket experts and fans alike. In fact, the former Australian captain, Ricky Ponting, got dragged into the matter by Robinson. This irked Ponting who did not mince his words when he called Robinson not as very skillful. To justify his words he called the England pacer frustrated and a toiled hard bowler who watched the game throughout the day like some spectator after Usman Khawaja calmly kept playing his deliveries without taking any unwanted risks whatsoever. 6. Pakistani fans often criticize him for being way too much defensive in ODI cricket and often held him responsible for the defeats. Misbah-ul-Haq also became a hated guy when he played that shot in the final over of the match which not only costed his wicket but also handed over the ICC World T20 2007 trophy to India. 7. He was involved in match-fixing scandals which made South Africa lose significant amount of respect in the international cricketing sphere.
