1. Ravichandran Ashwin (T20Is)
Ravichandran Ashwin is a legend in Test match cricket. The off-spinner has played 78 Test matches for India and has scalped a whopping 409 wickets at a stunning average of 24.69. In fact, Ashwin is the 4th highest wicket-taker for India in Test cricket, and if he takes another 26 wickets in the whites, he will leapfrog Harbhajan Singh and Kapil Dev and become the 2nd highest wicket-taker for India in Test matches.
But, in spite of carving out a legendary career in Test cricket, Ashwin has not been able to find a place in the Indian side in limited-overs cricket. The last time Ashwin played limited-overs cricket for India was in July 2017. Since then, he has been sidelined from both ODIs and T20Is.
Ashwin is already 34 years old and is not getting younger. And, it looks like India has moved on from Ashwin in the limited-overs format. Ashwin can retire from T20Is so that he can prolong his Test career and achieve greater laurels for his country in the white flannels.
