Lord’s, widely referred to as the ‘Home of Cricket’, has the world’s oldest sporting museum. It is Located in St John’s Wood, London. Named after its founder, Thomas Lord, it is owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). The ground celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2014. To mark the occasion, a 50 over match was played on 5th July between Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) XI, captained by Sachin Tendulkar, and Rest of the World XI led by Shane Warne.
