Warner Park Sporting Complex is an athletic facility which includes the Warner Park Stadium. It was the first of the Caribbean’s seven new World Cup stadiums to open, staging its first ODI in May 2006 and its first Test a month later. It is named after Sir Thomas Warner, the explorer who established the first English colony on St. Kitts. The Australians have played 5 ODIs here and won all of these. They beat Scotland, Netherlands and South Africa in the 2007 World Cup. The home side, West Indies, was twice beaten in 2008 in a bilateral series.
