Deepika Pallikal was already an accomplished name before she married Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik. <p>Back in the day, when a certain Sachin Tendulkar was making inroads into the Indian cricket team and topping headlines of most newspapers with his outstanding performances, he became a major media attraction. Soon enough, his personal life too was under the media scrutiny tremendously and his love story with his future wife Anjali was a major talking point.</p>
<p>Having seen the Indian public give a lot of attention to what the Indian cricketers’ family members do, the media too started investing a lot of time and energy towards digging into their personal lives. Although some people never liked it, some were gracious enough to come out and share some stories on how the couple became a couple and also about their professional life.</p>
<p>The current Indian cricket team members have married some very interesting and prolific personalities. Here is what these ladies have done/are doing with their careers.</p>
<h3>1. Anushka Sharma – Actress</h3>

<p>Often termed the “First Lady” of Indian cricket right now, Anushka Sharma is already a well-known figure in Indian cinema. After making her debut alongside Shahrukh Khan in “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”, the actress went on to achieve great fame with films like Band Baaja Baarat, PK, NH10, Pari, Sultan etc.</p>
<p>She also is made a good name as a producer in a very short time. Under her production house “Clean State Films”, which made movies like NH10 and Phillauri. She also owns a clothing line named “Nush”. She clearly is a very busy personality and is working on a lot of her future projects right now.</p>

<p>Deepika Pallikal was already an accomplished name before she married Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik. One of the most popular Squash players from our country, Deepika Pallikal was the first-ever Indian to break into the top 10 of the PSA rankings. She is currently ranked 19th and has 11 titles to her name in her career.</p>
<p>Among her other accomplishments include winning a gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth games alongside her partner Joshna Chinnappa. She is also an Arjuna Award and Padmashri winner. She is currently being coached by former Australian player Sarah Fitz-Gerald and aspires to grow further under her mentorship.</p>
<h3>3. Ritika Sajdeh – Sports Manager</h3>

<p>One of the few wives on this list who had a great connection with cricketers even before she met her future husband was Ritika Sajdeh, who worked as a Sports Manager. She started working at Cornerstone Sport &amp; Entertainment, a management company owned by her cousin Bunty Sachdeva. She was good friends with cricketers like Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh before meeting Rohit Sharma.</p>
<p>Her family is predominantly into the Sports Management field as her brother works for IMG Reliance and she continues to manage all of Rohit’s professional contracts since getting married. Ritika is always present witnessing her husband score big runs for the Indian side and is currently accompanying him in England as the side aspires to lift the World Cup for the third time.</p>
<h3>4. Snehal Jadhav – Cricketer</h3>

<p>One of the very few Indian cricketers to have married a cricketer herself, Kedar Jadhav‘s wife Snehal Jadhav is a professional cricketer who played at the state level for Maharashtra and also the West Zone. Unfortunately, she couldn’t make it to the international level but played for other state teams like Hyderabad and Odisha during her career.</p>
<p>She has played 37 List A, one First-class, and 31 Twenty 20 matches. The couple were blessed with a baby girl in 2015 and ever since she decided to step down from her career. She keeps visiting the stadiums to see her husband play and is accompanying him in England right now.</p>

<p>Ravindra Jadeja was off to a slow start in his cricketing career but slowly grew into a very important figure in the side. He married Riva Solanki, who he met at a party and in a very short span of time, the duo decided to tie the knot. She has done Mechanical Engineering from Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science, Rajkot.</p>
<p>Riva joined the Bharatiya Janata Party recently and is expected to make a serious career in politics. Riva belongs to a wealthy background and some of her family members are already into politics. A year before she joined BJP, she worked as the head of Karni Sena’s women’s wing in Gujarat.</p>

<p>Harbhajan Singh has been one of the most charismatic characters of Indian cricket, on and off the field. He married the love of his life Geeta Basra having dated the Punjabi actress for a long period of time. The couple were blessed with a baby a year after they got married and make regular public appearances together.</p>
<p>Geeta Basra is an accomplished Punjabi actress who rose to fame with various films like Dil Diya Hai, The Train, Second Hand Husband, Zilla Ghaziabad and also appeared in some music videos of the famous singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. She hasn’t worked in any films since getting married.</p>

<p>Priyanka Choudhary spent a lot of her personal life in the Netherlands before getting married to Suresh Raina. The star Indian cricketer tied the knot with Priyanka back in 2015. The couple gave birth to a baby girl back in 2016. Priyanka doesn’t often appear in the stadiums to support her husband but she’s an ardent football fan.</p>
<p>Priyanka completed her software engineering and worked with various banks in the Netherlands as an IT professional. She also worked with prominent MNCs like Accenture and Wipro. Currently, Priyanka Choudhary is working to build her NGO which promotes mother and child awareness during the time of delivery. She also delivered a speech in Ted Talks in 2017.</p>

<p>Ravichandran Ashwin and Prithi Narayanan knew each other for a long time before they tied the knot in 2011. The couple were a part of the same Engineering college, the SSN College of Engineering. She completed her B.Tech in Information Technology whilst Ashwin cleared his under graduation with great difficulty as he also had to manage his cricketing life.</p>
<p>Prithi worked with a few companies before keeping her career aside to continue as a housemaker. The couple is blessed with two amazing girls Akhira and Aadhya. Prithi doesn’t appear regularly in the stadiums apart from the times when Ashwin plays in the Indian Premier League.</p>

<p>Radhika Dhopvakar married Indian middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane back in 2014. The couple knew each other since their college days and a few years after Rahane made his mark at the International level, Radhika and Rahane tied the knot. She is keen on making a career in Interior designing and pursued some courses related to it.</p>
<p>Her father worked in the Indian Navy before getting into the Tourism field. Her mother too works in the same field as her father. Radhika too doesn’t make many public appearances in the stadiums but she is often spotted alongside Ritika Sajdeh.</p>
<h3>10. Sakshi Singh – Hotel Management</h3>

<p>Arguably one of the most famous WAGs in the country, Sakshi Singh married the former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni back in 2010. The couple gave birth to their only child Ziva Singh back in 2015 shortly before the 11th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup. Sakshi is a regular feature in the stadiums when her husband is in action.</p>
<p>Sakshi completed her Hotel Management in Kolkata before interning with some very famous hotels like Taj Bengal and incidentally, that’s where she met her future husband, just the way it was depicted in MS Dhoni’s biopic. After marrying the 3-time ICC Trophy-winning captain, she decided to take up the role of a housemaker.&lt;</p>
