Lungi Ngidi is a young right-arm pacer from South Africa. He made his international debut for his team in 2017. He holds decent records in his bowling career. He has played 23 T20I matches and has claimed 36 wickets with an economy of 8.97.

He is easily capable of bowling 140 Kph deliveries. The 25-year-old made his debut in IPL in 2018 for Chennai Super Kings. Later he got injuries in 2019 and was dropped from the playing eleven.

He again made his comeback in 2020 and was in the squad in 2021 too. If at all the franchise drops him out for the next auction, he might impress the two teams who need a tall fast bowler with good variations and bouncers and will go for a good price.
