Trent Boult– the Kiwi left-arm fast-medium bowler is a player to look out for. Boult has been playing for New Zealand since 2012 and is a well-experienced campaigner. Boult being the leading wicket-taker for New Zealand in the 2015 cricket World Cup, was given a maiden call for IPL.

Boult was purchased by the Hyderabad team in 2015 and further went on to represent Kolkata Knight Riders in 2017 and Delhi Capitals in 2018-19 until he was traded to Mumbai Indians in 2020. He was a key player for the squad in winning the title in 2020.

This dynamic bowler would be of great use for the two new teams, as he could be an apt person to lead the pace attack. His swing in the powerplay overs, his ability to take early wickets, and his accurate Yorkers are seen as his major strength.
