Luke Wright has been a great performer for England in the World T20s. Luke Wright appeared for the England team in all the World T20 from the 2007 edition to 2012 edition. The right-hander was also part of England’s only ICC Major Event triumph, The 2010 World T20. In fact, he had a great time in the last edition he played in the 2012 edition. However, a series of bad performances saw Luke Wright lose his place in the team back in 2014. But, ever since facing the axe, Wright has been performing well in the domestic leagues and needed a serious look-in. Unfortunately, the 34-year-old found no place in the new age England team full of young rising players. The batting order looked sorted in the presence of the likes of Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler and others.
