6. Irfan Pathan:
Irfan Pathan overcame injuries to play for his domestic side Baroda 2015. He did not disappoint and came back with good returns. He made a roaring comeback in the Ranji competition taking 13 wickets in the 3 games. He fared even better in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy where he emerged as the highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets in just 10 games. Around the same time, India was also in search for a seam-bowling all-rounder. His chances looked bright but his comeback to the national team became tougher with the emergence of young all-rounders who filled the place which could have potentially been his.
