10 Players who have played the most consecutive ODIs
3. Hansie Cronje – 162:
Perhaps the most infamous name in South African cricket post-apartheid, the late Hansie Cronje was one of the best players to have been produced by South Africa. Cronje missed just one match since September 1993. He was rested in the 6th ODI of the Coco-Cola Cup in 2000, only to return for the following match against Pakistan. The fixture against Pakistan proved to be the final match of his career. Cronje scored a mammoth 4998 runs in 162 matches at an average of 39.21.
