We have seen players like Tatenda Taibu, Parthiv Patel claiming decent importance in the international sphere. Even Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar, referred to as ‘Little Master’ have been prolific in their cricket careers ignoring their short heights.
So as a token of respect, we enlist the 10 Shortest Cricketers in international Cricket:
10 – Mominul Haque, 5ft. 3.5in. :
This left-hand batsman from Bangladesh is among the youngest and the latest entrants to this tall of the shortest cricketers. At 23 years Mominul Haque has represented Bangladesh in 27 Tests and 26 ODIs has 2154 and 543 runs respectively. He comes from the coastal town of Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh. Mominul earned himself a place in the squad after a couple of good, consistent and performance filled seasons in First Class cricket, and was in as a replacement for Shakib Al Hasan, who was out with an injury. His ability to bowl slow left-arm orthodox, made him a considerable option for the Bangladesh cricket team.
