However, the players who have drastically malfunctioned or have gone into a descent might find the mega auction a bit loathing merely because of a profusion being available. Since largely all teams will be starting from scratch, their hefty wallets will only indulge them into buying quality players and avoid the dingy bets.

1. Ajinkya Rahane

So far the pacer has played for three different franchises and is currently with the DC squad for the second leg. Well, as a handy middle-order batsman, Gurkeerat Mann Singh had initially started splendidly for KXIP in <a href="http://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IPL</a> 2012. By establishing himself as a formidable all-rounder in the global T20 leagues, Dan Christian has played more than 350 games. Perhaps in the BBL, he is considered as one of the iconic players and has a profusion of more than 100 games and other titles under his name. Unfortunately, when it comes to the IPL, the Aussie stalwart is yet to unleash his prominence and so far has been a very reasonable entity.

The franchise eventually bagged the last BBL’s two prolific pacers (Jhye Richardson and <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/he-hit-me-a-couple-of-times-during-the-practice-game-we-played-glenn-maxwell-on-riley-meredith/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Riley Meredith</a>) but unfortunately, both of them didn&#8217;t live up to the expectations.

Perhaps with regards to Meredith’s services, the Aussie was bagged for whooping INR 8 Crores wherein he only played mere 5 games. The Tasmanian pacer only managed to scalp 4 wickets that too at an economy of almost 10. 7. Shivam Dube

Not long ago in IPL 2019, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/indian-all-rounder-shivam-dube-gets-married-to-anjum-khan/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shivam Dube</a> had initially started his IPL journey with the RCB franchise. The all-rounder was picked for INR 5 Crores but unfortunately could only manage to play only 4 games in his debut season. In IPL 2019, Manan Vohra was bought by the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2021-rajasthan-royals-predicted-playing-xi-against-punjab-kings/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">RR franchise</a> for INR 20 lakh and had to wait two full seasons to make his debut. The cricketer also started as the team’s frontline opener but ended up facing havoc with regards to his performances.

From his tally of 4 games, all Manan had managed was a total of 42 runs at an average of 10.5. He never looked comfortable and eventually lost his place after exhibiting a horrid time.
