12 eyeballs grabbing incidents in the IPL: IPL has been a joyful ride which only got better every year. The league has of course created abuzz for its cricketing action. But apart from the game, IPL has always been in news for other reasons, here are a few of those which happened on the field and highlighted the other side of things.

As a result Harbhajan was banned for the remainder of the IPL season.

This incident took place when Virat Kohli got out to a catch taken in the deep and when the team came together to celebrate. Kohli stared at Gambhir and murmured something, and the KKR captain was angered and made his way towards his Delhi teammate. They both exchanged grave looks and muttered something; KKR team members and the on-field officials intervened to resolve the dispute.

In a match against Deccan Chargers, Sangakkara was declared not out after a loud appeal from Munaf. This certainly went against the bowlers wish and he picked up an argument with the umpires and situation turned out so worse that Tall fast bowler refused to continue bowling knowing that his behaviour is not to the liking of the captain and the other members of the team.

Pollard was out on a Dwayne Bravo delivery and after the fall of the wicket Bravo signaled in an ugly fashion and said that he should be taking the next flight home, if he continues to play like he did.

Ambati Rayudu, the Mumbai Indians batsman, was celebrating the victory over Royal Challengers and passed comments that made the fast bowler Harshal Patel furious. He charged towards Rayudu in anger and then his teammates stopped him. The incident took place in IPL 2012 for which both the players got slapped with a fine for their misbehaviours by the IPL authorities.

The event occurred after a delivery from Patel was hit for a six by Dhawan. The next few balls, he got hit for a couple of boundaries by Mishra and the tall fast bowler has lost his temper and glared at Mishra. Both the players exchanged unpleasant stares and the umpire had to come in to get the situation under control.

Mitchell Starc was the premier pacer for the RCB and was bowling at the destructive Kieron Pollard. Starc bowled a bouncer which zoomed past as Pollard attempted a hook, the bowler spat a few words at the striker who in return shooed him off. Starc charged up to delivery another challenge ran in and while he was right at his delivery stride Pollard pulled off and since he was annoyed Mitch decided to continue with the delivery, the batsman was burning with anger for it and charged with his bat and swung it in the bowler&#8217;s direction. The two of them were charged 50 and 75% off the match fees for the same.

Kohli stared at Gambhir and murmured something, and the KKR captain was angered and made his way towards his Delhi teammate. One of the most unspoken characters on the field Munaf Patel caused a bit of a trouble for the Captain of the Mumbai Indians and the umpires. In a match against Deccan Chargers, Sangakkara was declared not out after a loud appeal from Munaf. This certainly went against the bowlers wish and he picked up an argument with the umpires and situation turned out so worse that Tall fast bowler refused to continue bowling knowing that his behaviour is not to the liking of the captain and the other members of the team.

Munaf Patel has lost his cool more than once in the IPL. On this occasion, while bowling the ultimate over, he was involved in a verbal fight with Amit Mishra and Shikar Dhawan. The event occurred after a delivery from Patel was hit for a six by Dhawan. The next few balls, he got hit for a couple of boundaries by Mishra and the tall fast bowler has lost his temper and glared at Mishra. Both the players exchanged unpleasant stares and the umpire had to come in to get the situation under control.

Pollard has always been someone who is very expressive on the field. In this case, he displayed his affection to Warner in a rather humorous way. He blew a kiss to the Australian on the field and followed it up with a few dot balls to the left-hander. Later on when Pollard bowled a delivery and Warner tried to smash it away, but all he could manage was to edge it. Pollard then walked up to him to say something, in response to which Warner blew a flying kiss to Pollard. Pollard walked back to his position smiling to bowl the next delivery
