12-year-old kid says he doesn't like cricket, Sachin Tendulkar reacts to it
Sachin Tendulkar's reply to the kid is winning the internet.
Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has got admirers across all age groups. recently, the cricketer shared a picture of the letter that he had received from one of his fans. The 12-year old child, who identifies himself as Srihari Katti from Nagpur, confessed that he is a fan of Tendulkar but added that cricket is not his favorite sport.
The young boy wrote in the letter that he plays Badminton, but he is a very big fan of the cricketer. Tendulkar surely had a good time reading the letter, and to the kid’s delight, the Maestro replied back saying that he is glad to know his passion for badminton and wished the kid well.
Young kid writes to Sachin
“Dear Sir, My name is Shrihari Katti and I live in Kanpur. I am a very big fans of yours but not cricket… I myself play badminton [sic],” Katti, who calls himself Tendulkar’s biggest fan, wrote. Tendulkar replied back saying “Thank you for your kind letter, Shrihari! Glad to know that you play Badminton. Keep working hard always! My best wishes.”
Tendulkar yet to grant to her wish?
Tendulkar has received quite a lot of letters from his adorable fans. Recently, a six-year old wrote a letter to the master, saying she cried while watching Tendulkar’s last match. Taara, the said fan, who addressed Tendulkar as “uncle” also added she wanted to meet the cricketer and his family in person. Sachin replied to her saying that he is glad that she liked the movie but didn’t answer to the girl’s request of meeting her up.
Clearly, the master-blaster has got many admirers and followers all over the globe. Having retired from cricket almost three years back, Tendulkar’s following hasn’t gone down a bit. He is still worshipped by many and numerous followers desire to catch a glimpse of their idol.
