India and Bangladesh are currently involved in the two-match Test series. The hosts have already won the series opener in Indore and are looking the favourites to seal the contest 2-0 in Kolkata. In Indore, it was all about India as they dominated from the word go and never let Bangladesh off the hook at any stage. Only Mushfiqur Rahim could handle the heat in the middle as he mustered 43 and 64 runs in the two innings he batted.

Rahim gave up his wicketkeeping in the longest format to concentrate on batting and did well for his team. But the rest of the visiting batsmen didn’t give ample support to him. Mushfiqur Rahim was also in the field for as many as 114 overs as India plundered 493 runs in the first innings and experienced something hilarious while fielding at the boundary.

During India’s innings, when Bangladesh‘s former skipper was fielding near the boundary line, the Indore crowd hilariously trolled him with a witty slogan. The fans started shouting, “2 Rs ki Pepsi, Rahim bhai s*x*.” The video of the same has set the internet on fire at the moment as the social media gimmicks are left in splits.

Here’s the video:

Should in-form Mushfiqur Rahim bat at four?

Mushfiqur Rahim has turned out to be a thorn in the flesh for India on this tour. He was instrumental in helping Bangladesh register their first-ever T20I win over India in Delhi and amassed over 100 runs across two innings in the first Test in Indore. But the experts feel that he batted too low at five and always came in when the team was already in trouble.

There is a notion in Test cricket that the team’s best batsman should bat at number four and Rahim should also do the same according to many. With the Pink ball likely to swing more, Bangladesh should consider this option hoping that the 32-year-old comes good once again as the visitors look to level the series. The second Test between India and Bangladesh will be the first-ever day-night Test for both the teams and it will be a historic occasion at the Eden Gardens on November 22.
