3. Avesh Khan for Deepak Chahar
India’s specialist T20I bowler Deepak Chahar wasn’t able to impress fans and experts in the two T20Is of the NZ series. Though he got a little success, he went very costly in both the games as compared to his compatriots.
Avesh Khan’s debut was very much expected in the series as he is walking into the series on the back of a wonderful IPL season where he finished as the highest wicket-taker for Delhi Capitals. He was selected as one of the Test bowlers for India for their England series.
He also was named as one of the standby players during their WTC 2019-21 final against New Zealand but couldn’t make a cut in the XI. However, a rightful chance for Madhya Pradesh pacer definitely looks on cards in the final T20I against Kiwis.
