2. Manish Pandey
The Karnataka-based top-order renegade can topple any battery of pacers on his day. He rose to limelight for his ruthless willow-work against Australia at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground. Scoring 104 unbeaten, the blue outfit trammelled the Australian winning streak of four ODIs against India in the series. He became an overnight-star in India after the spectacular rendition with the bat.
Manish has found his name in the squad on the back of his phenomenal domestic season. The swashbuckler has amassed 700 odd runs in 38 International T20 appearances. Eventually, questions hover over his selection in the much-important series against Australia.
Manish has been playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing stint. Unable to make up an inexorable mark, he has scored meagre 310 runs in 11 outings for the team. Eventually, all eyes will be on the 31-year-old as he takes strikes for the Indian cricket team with sheer pride.
