2. Mohammad Nabi (KKR)

Perhaps the most established player on the list, Nabi has been a stalwart for Afghanistan cricket and is more than useful with both bat and ball. The vastly experienced 37-year-old could be the perfect addition to KKRs lower middle order, adding bite to both the batting and bowling options.

While 3 of KKR’s 4 designated overseas slots are automatically filled by Russel, Narine, and Cummins, they are yet to find the perfect addition for the 4th slot having tried Sam Billings and Aaron Finch among other high profile names. As they already have a wealth of Indian opening options, and Sheldon Jackson to don the gloves, it would be worthwhile to field the former Afghanistan captain.

Starting from 2 consecutive defeats, KKR could be handed an all-around boost by Nabi’s inclusion. He would complement a lethal spin attack already consisting of Chakravarty and Narine while shoring up the KKRs batting lineup as well.
