These players failed to impress in IPL 2018 and RCB might like to release them and find better options.
3. Sarfraz Khan
The flamboyant youngster, Sarfraz Khan was retained by RCB before the start of IPL 2018 for Rs 1.75 crore. He has been with the team for a while now and they’ve always invested in grooming the talent. After sitting out on the entire IPL 2017 due to injury, he had a forgettable last season as well, making mere 51 runs in the 7 matches at an average of 10.
Previously, Sarfraz had played some mind-blowing knocks for RCB down the order but failed to make his presence felt during last year. It’s high on time that RCB might decide against giving him a longer rope and search for fresh talent. There are a lot of promising options in the domestic as well as the international circuit for the team to pick from.
