3 Players Sunrisers Hyderabad might release ahead of the IPL 2019
The runners-up of the last season might take some hard decisions this season ahead of the auction.
3. Chris Jordan
The Barbadian-English fast bowler was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 2016 season in place of the injured speedster Mitchell Starc. Chris Jordan put up a decent performance, claiming 11 wickets from nine matches only to be released by the franchise for the next IPL season.
Chris Jordan is best identified as a limited-overs specialist, known for searing the toe-crushing yorkers in the death overs. In the 2018 season, Jordan could get just the one game where he went wicketless for 31 runs which didn’t make a case either to be picked for further matches.
Sunrisers already have a well-settled fast-bowling unit in Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddharth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma, Basil Thampi, and, Billy Stanlake. Therefore, chances of Jordan to get a game looks slim and it looks like he will have to find a new team this time around.
