2. Quality Indian players, who are in-form

Since the inception of IPL, there has been a common pattern with the teams who have won the IPL. Each of these teams have had good Indian players. Even though initially there was a lot of hype around bringing in overseas players, slowly and slowly the franchises realised how important it is to get the seven Indian players right. 

As far as RCB is concerned, they have some really quality Indian players this year. With Kohli, being in charge, Washington Sundar and Mohammad Siraj, who have been playing for India in Tests will be surely starting in the XI. There is Yuzvendra Chahal and Navdeep Saini, both who play for India in limited-overs cricket. 

Apart from these five players, there is Devdutt Padikkal. The left-handed batsman has been in impeccable form with the bat in domestic cricket, scoring 52, 97*, 152, 126* and 145* in the five innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy which is being played at this moment. With all these players up with confidence, Kohli’s team looks quite set.
