3. Less dependency on ABD and Kohli

One of the main reasons why RCB hasn’t been the best team in the IPL has to be because of their overdependence on their key players AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli. Fans have seen several matches where the two star players have had to do the tough work while others failed to execute their plans around them. 

However, with some important signings of Glenn Maxwell, Kyle Jamison, Daniel Sams and Daniel Christian, there would be less pressure on the experienced players. If the RCB team can take some pressure away from these two players, then they can play more freely. In fact, on the day when they fail, there has to be someone standing tall to take responsibility. 

Glenn Maxwell and Christian have tremendous experience of playing T20 cricket. If they can use their experience to turn around the luck of the franchise, then RCB could well go onto clinch the 2021 edition. However, it has to be seen how the young players like Josh Philippe, Sams and Jamieson are handled.
