34 cameras being planned by the ICC for each match in the ICC Champions Trophy

The ICC Champions Trophy this year will include 34 cameras at every game including eight ultra-motion Hawk-Eye cameras, front and reverse view stump cameras and a Spidercam. The first match of the tournament is scheduled between host England and Bangladesh on the 1st of June.
This is the first time six player tracking cameras will be used in each match whereas a drone camera will provide extra pictures to supplement the broadcast coverage during the final on June 18.
There are many enhancements planned for the audiences also as there will be Analysis zone which will add depth to the live coverage bringing out all the details and nuances.
An in-depth cricket date analytics system provided by the Cricviz app and a player a player tracking real-time data visualisation system made available by Chyron Hego will supplement the Hawk Eye.
Sports graphics specialist Alston Elliot will provide scores and statistics in a fresh new style and feel designed by creative design agency DixonBaxi.
The coverage provided by ICC TV to broadcasters will commence 30 minutes before the start of play of each match and will include live toss, pitch report, player profiles and features looking ahead to the game.
There will also be a segment dedicated to the history and the stars of the ICC Champion Trophy along with reviews of the first half of games and a preview of run chases.
Plans have also been made by the ICC TV to offer informative additional content which includes daily player profiles, team features, match previews and other behind the scenes contest to keep the fans engaged.
Highly decorated captains like Sourav Ganguly and Ricky Ponting who have enjoyed a lot of success as skippers of their respective sides are a part of the line-up of commentators named by the International Cricket Council which is scheduled from June 1 to 18.
There are other former captains also who will be seen first time on the television as commentators the names being Brendon McCullum of New Zealand, Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka and Graeme Smith of South Africa.
The list also includes the likes of Shane Warne, Michael Slater, Nasser Hussain, Michael Atherton, Shaun Pollock, Sanjay Manjrekar, Ian Bishop, Ramiz Raja, Simon Doull and Athar Ali Khan.
