4. Moises Henriques and Rory Burns – Stirring Fears:

The death of Phil Hughes was fresh in the minds of people when another on field accident stirred the worst fears of everyone. In a T20 match between Sussex and Surrey everything seemed quite normal until Tom Curran’s delivery was hit as a skier by Surrey’s Steffan Piolet. Burns rushing in from deep cover while Henriques was running backwards from point, failing to notice each collided and fell on the ground unconscious.

Immediate treatment was provided to both, that included oxygen and painkillers. Henriques regained consciousness and waved to the concerned crowd while Burns took time to get conscious. It did not end there, Henriques got his jaw broken and was to undergo a surgery and Burns got stitches on his head and facial injuries. The match was abandoned in its 19th over.
