Virat Kohli is set to return to international cricket in a high-voltage clash against Pakistan in the 2022 Asia Cup clash on August 28. He has missed India’s 20 of 25 international matches since the conclusion of the Indian Premier League 2022 in May. The former skipper is struggling to score big as he recently completed 1000 days without scoring a century across formats.

The 33-year-old still remains the highest-ranked Indian batter on ICC ODI Batters’ chart and continues to contribute with crucial knocks if not a hundred. He has scored 8074 runs in 102 Test matches at an impressive average of 49.53 and 12344 runs in 262 ODI matches and over 3000 runs in T20Is. He already is considered one of the greatest batsmen of his generation and is destined to achieve more.

He completed 14 years in international cricket last week and still possesses a fantastic fitness boost to play a few more years. He is the biggest sporting personality in India and a film on his career could be just around a corner. Indian fans are obsessed with cricket and the Bollywood connection in the last few years. In 2016, Emraan Hashmi played the former legendary cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in the film Azhar and Sushant Singh Rajput played MS Dhoni in the popular film MS Dhoni: The Untold Truth.
