Here is another spinner, this time a chinaman. Zahir Khan has been around for a couple of years now and has been making the right noises as well. He came through the Under 19 ranks where he put into some excellent performances and took giant strides. He was soon recognised and he’s been playing T20 leagues around the world now.

Having played for a few top T20 leagues around the world, Zahir has a very good record too. In 40 T20 games, he has taken 51 wickets at an average of 20.21. The chinaman has played one Test and one ODI as well. He returned with figures of 2/55 in the 50-over format while he picked up three wickets in the Test match.

Zahir was picked up the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 2018 auctions. Moreover, he initiated a tiny bidding war between Rajasthan and Mumbai before eventually going to the former for INR 60 lakhs. However, an injury prevented the youngster from taking part in one of the best T20 leagues in the world. Hence, he might be one of the Afghan attractions once again.
