Ajinkya Rahane was in the form of his life during the 2015 edition of the IPL. He smacked the bowlers at will and hardly put a foot wrong in all of the tournament. The Mumbaikar missed out on the Orange Cap by just 22 runs. David Warner who played an inning more than the Indian batter benefitted from the same.

Rahane played 13 innings scoring 540 runs in the process. He had the best average of 49 which was more than the top five run-getters. His strike rate was 130 which was extremely good considering the position he batted in. Warner scored 562 runs that season his top score was the same as Ajinkya Rahane’s; 91.
