The South African run machine of has been scoring centuries with ease for the last five years. A gifted batsman, his subtle wrists and compact back-foot allow him to stand up tall and play delightful strokes on either side of the wicket. Currently ranked the number 2 batsman in ODI cricket by the ICC, he holds the world record of being the fastest to score 5,000 ODI runs, in just 101 innings. He has played 125 ODIs scoring 5985 runs with 28 half-centuries and 21 tons. He completed scoring ODI tons against all Test playing nations with a century against the Aussies in Canberra on November 19, 2014 which was his 98th innings.
