Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis is the latest entry in the list of batsmen with most consecutive ducks in Test-matches, which any batsman wouldn’t have wanted to enter, as the 25-year-old recorded four successive ducks in Test-cricket.

Kusal Mendis achieved this feat against South Africa and England as the former registered three ducks in the recently concluded South Africa series followed by a duck in the first innings of ongoing Test-match against England.

Kusal Mendis has scored 3007 runs at an average of 34.97 in Test cricket. His tally of 3007 runs include seven centuries and 11 half centuries. In 2017, he was even named as ODI batsman of the year for the 2016-17 season during Sri Lanka’s annual cricket awards.
