The best part about Pollard is his ability to change the game on his terms. He can bat up the order, down the order, or anywhere if the team needs. This time, we are revisiting his spectacular effort against New Zealand in the 2020 series.

Even after a decent start by Andre Fletcher, the top and middle-order struggled. Brandon King, Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran, and Rovman Powell flopped and Lockie Ferguson was all over the 2016 Champions. It was a poor outing for everyone in the middle order except Pollard.

The captain took the responsibility for stabilizing and attacking the Kiwi bowlers. In 27 balls, he scored 75 runs with a strike rate of 202.70. This helped Windies to put on a solid 180 on the board. Even though they lost the game, Pollard gave them a chance to win the match by setting up a huge total.
