2. 109* runs from 136 balls vs Australia- 2012/2013 ODI series
There is no doubt that post their Champions Trophy triumph, the Windies have slumped in the 50-over format. They never had the players who could consistently perform with the bat. This meant that they lost almost every important tour.
But, during the 4th ODI against Australia, Pollard took the initiative of stepping up and setting an example. The all-rounder smashed 109* runs in 136 balls while every other batter failed to set up a huge individual score. It was a mature inning from him as he took his time to settle down and he adapted with the tailenders as well.
He smashed 11 fours and two sixes in his innings, this means that he scored more than half of his runs in boundaries. This inning made him the leader of the pack. Adding on, he bowled five economical overs as well.
