After missing the first Test, MS returned to the team in the second and final Test against Bangladesh. He came into bat after the fall of Sachin Tendulkar’s wicket. He joined Murali Vijay in the middle. The stage was set for a big score as the top order had laid a solid platform. Dhoni scored 89 with 9 fours and 2 big sixes.

It was a rather slow knock but he spent enough time in the middle batting for nearly 3 hours. The tail enders extended enough support to the skipper. His innings helped India post a mammoth score of 544.

It ensured them had a good lead and India had to chase just 2 runs in the second innings. This Test match was a good one for Zaheer Khan who bagged 10 wickets. India won the match by 10 wickets with that whitewashing the series 2-0.
