1. 4/75 & 10/74, v Pakistan, Delhi, 1999
This would go down as one of the finest performance in cricket history. In February 1999 at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Kumble became just the second bowler, after England’s Jim Laker, to take all ten wickets in a Test innings. After taking 4 wickets in the first innings he just rolled over the Pakistan batting line up in the second. India were 1-0 down in the series and were looking for a comeback and Kumble coming in to bowl after lunch in the second innings just bamboozled the Pakistan team with his rip snorting and vicious spinning deliveries.
