Piyush Chawla has been another impactful leg-spinner in the IPL. He has taken 150 wickets in 157 games. He started his career with the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), after which he played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR.

He was bought by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in this year’s auction for INR 6.75 crore. Chawla had a mediocre season last year, picking up 10 wickets from 13 games at an economy rate of just a shade under 9.

The Uttar Pradesh cricketer didn’t have any particularly stand-out performances in the season, except a three-fer against Rajasthan at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
