5. Amit Mishra:

Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra recently made a comeback to the Test squad against Sri Lanka. His performance strongly states that he has only improved since the last time he was dropped. He took 15 wickets in the 3-match Test series. Mishra, if given a chance, promises to put an impact on the South African batsmen. Ironically, Amit Mishra last played an ODI for India exactly a year back against West Indies in October on the same date.

On the other hand, South Africa, who will be high on confidence, will play the first ODI with an aim to keep the positive momentum and their dominance in the tour intact after defeating India hands down in the T20Is. The South African bowling line-up has only got stronger with the return of More Morkel and Dale Steyn. Indians have to be wary about their bowling attack which became a cause of the problem for them even with these two stalwarts.
