2. Ball passes through the stumps without dislodging the bails:
In 1997-98 when South Africa was playing Pakistan in Faisalabad, Mushtak Ahmed’s delivery beat Protean Pat Symcox and went to the stumps – but the ball sailed smoothly between the middle and the off stump. The reason to this was, the ball had become a little odd shaped due to the play and though it shook the bails, it couldn’t dislodge them. Symcox was declared not out!
