5. How long can a bail travel?:
In England’s 1928-29 tour of Australia, the Poms were playing a match against Tasmania when English bowler Harold Larwood, infamous for the body-line series, delivered a ball that went straight on the stumps of Geoffrey Martin. During this dismissal, one of the bails was dislodged and traveled a whopping 67 yards 6 inches in the air before landing! It was almost equal to 212 feet and still remains a world record.
