5 costliest players of IPL10 who are yet to play a game
Franchises spent a considerable amount on these players only to make them warm the benches
#4 Chris Jordan – INR 50 Lakh
English pacer Chris Jordan was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second round of the IPL auctions this year. He was bagged for his base price of INR 50 Lakh. Jordan is a renowned T20 specialist and is a regular name in the English national side in the limited-overs format of the game. He was with the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the previous edition of the tournament.
Jordan has been unlucky to have not been a part of the playing eleven of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The SRH camp already boasts of an excess of overseas players that has caused them a problem of plenty. With all-rounders being the preferred choice in the lineup, Jordan has been missing out on opportunities. Jordan is a veteran T20 player who has played 78 matches thus far in the shortest format of the game. He has 83 wickets to his name with a strike rate of 18.1.
