Jayant Yadav was drafted into the Indian <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/the-captain-is-expected-to-uphold-the-highest-standards-greg-chappell-pens-down-an-open-letter-for-tim-paine-after-scg-test-controversy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Test</a> squad to play in India during a long home season. He was a quality off-spinner who was performing well for India A.
