Sir Don Bradman is an all-time legend of cricket. He was a player born to play the gentlemen’s game, who ended up setting a benchmark for the upcoming generation. The right-handed Aussie legend was no less than a nightmare for the bowlers.

In his illustrious Test career, he amassed 6996 runs in 52 Tests for Australia at an average of 99.94. It is the highest average in the history of cricket managed by any player. His stats speak a lot about his calibre when it comes to batting. But there is a surprising fact for the fans related to the same.

Bradman never liked hitting sixes. In his 52-Test long career, he smacked only six sixes and it is quite an amusing fact for a fan to know. Moreover, he had never smacked a single six in 234- first-class games. It is shocking but true that the legendary batsman from Australia was never on good terms with sixes.
