4. Quinton de Kock
Quinton de Kock has been a part of the IPL even before he became famous. Little do people know that De Kock made his IPL debut while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2013. However, he made a name for himself in the Indian T20 league during his stint with the Delhi Daredevils (now Capitals).
He played for them for three seasons (2014, 2015, 2016) before missing the 2017 edition. However, in 2018, the South African wicketkeeper was bought by RCB for INR 2.8 crore. The left-handed opener scored 201 runs in eight innings before RCB decided to do away with him.
In 2019, he was the first player to be traded. RCB traded him at Mumbai Indians (MI). De Kock had an impact straight away as he was MI’s best batsman in the 2019 season. He amassed 529 runs in the season as MI went on to lift the IPL title. In fact, even today, de Kock speaks very highly about the IPL win.
