Shane Watson is one of the only few cricketers around the world who has scored a century for and against a team twice. He scored a ton playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR) against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2013. He returned the favour while playing for CSK in 2018 when he struck a ton against RR in the 11th edition.

In fact, it was in the 2018 season, Watson found IPL success after a decade. It was in 2008, the inaugural season of the IPL when RR lifted the title. Watson was a part of that side. In fact, he was a part of RR until 2015. In 2016, RCB shelled out INR 9.5 crore to gain his services. However, the former Aussie all-rounder failed big time at the RCB.

He scored a mere 250 runs at an average of 13.15. With the ball, his numbers are slightly better where he took 25 wickets from 24 games. Hence, in 2018, they decided to leave him. Thus, CSK got him and he found instant success. Watson was a part of CSK’s fairytale comeback into the IPL where they won the title for the third time.
